Common Core State Standards with Mathematics & Literacy
This six-hour session will focus on integrating technology into the literacy and/or mathematics classroom. We will use these as a basis for creating real world style math learning projects using technology integration. Upon completion of this session participants will have created a technology based real world style math learning project for their classroom that will support Common Core Standards. Participants will be introduced to one of the assessment pieces of the Common Core State Standards. Teachers to be able to effectively research problems with relevant Internet sources and propose solutions to questions in the form of brochures or pamphlets.
